Jiménez in Costa Rica and Wilhelm Kahle in Mexico, shared the same vision: to create coffee that could meet the expectations of a new gourmet market in Europe. Today, their descendants continue that pursuit of excellence on fertile volcanic soils in Costa Rica’s West Valley.
In the cup, Volcan Azul is expressive, fruit, sweet and sugary. Distinct notes of berries, chocolate, lemon, orange and strawberry give the coffee its vibrant character, while the finish lingers with clarity and balance.
